Fanduel Sportsbook offers a first-time free bet and also has some interesting NFL bets lined up during this, the offseason.
There is already an opening line on the NFL’s first regular season game between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears. Fan Duel lists Chicago as -4 over Green Bay. Which means the Bears are a four-point favorite, at home, to beat their archrival. The money line is Chicago – 195 and Green Bay +165. Which means you must wish $195 to win $100 if you bet Chicago to just win the game. Or you can bet $100 to win $165 if you think Green Bay will win the game. Betting on the Packers might not be a bad idea. There are also prop bets on four individual players. Bettors can bet on New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell and whether he will gain over/under 1,032 yards and
score over/under 9.5 touchdowns. Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has an over/under of 1,100 yards and 8.5 touchdowns. Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Bryant has an over/under of 1,200 yards and 9.5 touchdowns. And Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten has an over/under of 470 yards. And then a scale of touchdowns. You can bet 1-2 at +200; 3-4 at +150 and 5 or more at +180.

Brooklyn Nets – Orlando Magic February 2 Preview
The scorching hot Brooklyn Nets head to scorching hot Florida to face the Magic on Saturday at the Amway Center in Orlando. Brooklyn, despite numerous key players being on the sidelines due to injuries, are one of the hottest teams in the NBA.
Brooklyn has won eight times in their last ten games, and are currently sixth in the Eastern Conference with a 28-24 record. They are also a fairly solid road team, posting a 12-13 record. Their biggest strength is shooting – they currently rank fifth in the NBA in hitting three-pointers.
The Magic, on the other had, are sinking in the East – their 20-31 record have them out of the playoffs in 11th place. As of this writing they’ve lost four-straight and seven of their last ten games. A 12-15 home record isn’t going to instill fear in their opponents, either. None of this is Nikola Vucevic’s fault, however, as he has blossomed into a star this year and leads the team in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots.
The Nets lead the season series 2-0. This is their last meeting this year.

New Jersey Devils vs. Montreal Canadiens February 2 Prediction
The New Jersey Devils have a tough road game Saturday afternoon as they face the Montreal Canadiens in the raucous Bell Centre in La Belle Province, Quebec. The Devils currently find themselves way out of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference, so every point they can win off of an eastern rival is crucial.
The Devils are currently third from last in the conference, and have only won four times in their last ten games. They are also an abysmal road team, posting a 6-17-3 away from home this season. All of this may be due to the fact that they are walking wounded, with several key players on the shelf.
The Habs, meanwhile, are on an upswing, pushing themselves up to third in the conference. They have won six of their last ten games. They are actually a better road team this year than at home, but still sport a solid 14-10-2 record in Bell Centre. Montreal, in stark contrast to New Jersey, are healthy and at full strength.
The Devils won their first meeting this season, with two more games (including Saturday) on the way.

Boston Celtics – New York Knicks Feb 1/19 Prediction
The struggling New York Knicks will have their hands full when they host the Boston Celtics on Friday in Madison Square Garden. The Celtics are one of the NBA’s best teams, while the Knicks are near the bottom.
New York has lost a whopping ten-straight games, and are a miserable 4-17 on their home floor. They rank last in the NBA in shooting percentage as well as assists. Their leading scorer, Tim Hardaway Jr, is shooting under 40% from the field, and their top rebounder, Enes Kanter, is being benched for some reason.
Boston, meanwhile, is starting to get their act together, winning six of their last ten games. At 31-19, they currently rank fifth in the Eastern Conference. They are, however, a weak road team, only going 11-13 away from Boston this season. While star Gordon Hayward is still not himself after coming back from his horrific injury last season, point guard Kyrie Irving has been his usual superstar self.
The Celtics lead the season series two games to one. This is their last matchup this season.

Real Sociedad vs Athletic Bilbao February 2 Prediction
Two of La Liga’s biggest rivals will meet over the weekend having enjoyed revivals under new management after poor starts for both sides. Real Sociedad were languishing in 15th when they sacked then manager Asier Garitano and promoted B team manager, Imanol Alguacil, for the second time in two seasons just before Christmas.
Since then La Real have picked up from where they left off last time under Alguacil having gone four games unbeaten. It included a win at the Santiago Bernabeu for the first time since 2004. The upturn in form has dragged Real Sociedad away from the relegation zone and up among the European spots. Though three consecutive draws means they have failed to take advantage of sides above them slipping up. The hosts are currently ninth, just two points off Valencia in the last Europa League spot.
Its much the same story for Athletic Bilbao, who sacked Eduardo Berizzo with the Basque giants lying in 18th and looking a sure pick to go down. The appointment of Giazka Garitano has transformed their season with Athletic Club going seven games unbeaten since his appointment and rising to the heights of 11th, three points off seventh.
So what has sparked this revival? The obvious factor is both sides home form. When Eduardo Berizzo was sacked, Real Sociedad and Athletic Club had collected just 13 points from 13 home games. Since then, they’ve collected 14 points in their last six home games combined. Granted, much of that has come from Athletic Bilbao, but Aglaucil is already two points off the home tally of his predecessor having only managed two league home matches so far.
With this predence, a win for either side in this match up will provide more than just derby bragging rights, but also a measuring stick of just how far they’ve come under their new respective managers.
Brooklyn Nets – Boston Celtics January 28
Brooklyn Nets – Boston Celtics January 28 Prediction
The banged-up Brooklyn Nets hobble into the TD Garden in Boston on Monday for a date with the Boston Celtics. Both teams are fiery hot right now, both currently (as of this writing) riding five-game winning streaks. Brooklyn has won eight of their last ten; Boston seven.
However, the Nets are running out of healthy players to suit up for them. Caris LeVert, their leading scorer when he got injured, has been out with a dislocated foot for months; Spencer Dinwiddie recently tore ligaments in his thumb; Allen Crabbe has been out almost two months with a knee injury; and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Jared Dudley have been on and off the court with lingering injuries. That’s five rotation players on the shelf.
The Celtics, meanwhile, are healthy and cooking at home, posting a 19-5 record on the parquet. They are currently fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 30-18 record (Brooklyn is sixth with a 26-23 win-loss mark). They are deep, young, experienced, and talented.
The teams have split their two meetings thus far this season, with two more games to go.
New York Knicks – Charlotte Hornets January 28
New York Knicks – Charlotte Hornets January 28 Prediction
The New York Knicks take their clown show on the road Monday for a date with the Charlotte Hornets in the Spectrum Center. While “clown show” might be a bit harsh, there is no doubt that the Knicks season is going down the drain.
With a 10-36 record (as of this writing), losers of seven-straight games, and nine out of the last ten, the product the Knicks are putting on the court is horrible. And, to add to matters, players are now bickering with one another on the court and off, with management, and with fans on Twitter. Franchise superstar Kristaps Porzingis can’t return soon enough.
The Hornets, meanwhile, are cruising right along, with their 23-24 record putting them in the seventh spot (and in the playoffs) in the Eastern Conference. They are also a killer team on their home court at the Spectrum Center, posting a 16-8 record thus far (the Knicks are 6-20 on the road). Point guard Kemba Walker is having another exemplary season, and the team is great at taking care of the ball, turning it over the least in the NBA this season.
The two teams have split their two meetings thus far this season – this will be their final matchup.

Chicago Bulls – Brooklyn Nets January 29 Prediction
The Brooklyn Nets are battered and bruised, but it’s not slowing them down. The Nets, who are missing four to five key players every game at this point due to injury, just keep rolling on. As of this writing, the team has won six-straight games and eight out of their last ten. Their 27-23 record has them currently sitting in sixth place in the Eastern Conference. They are also a stellar 15-11 on their home court at the Barclays Center, and are third in the NBA in three-pointers made.
This is all bad new for the Chicago Bulls, who are having another dismal season. A 11-38 record has them with no shot at the playoffs, and things have gotten worse – they’ve only won one time in their last ten games. Adding insult to injury, rookie big man Wendell Carter Jr is on the shelf recovering from thumb surgery. A 6-19 away record makes them prime pickings for the Nets in Brooklyn on Tuesday night.
The Nets have won both of their meetings with the Bulls this season, with two games left to play.

New York Knicks – Brooklyn Nets Jan 25 Prediction
Another edition of the Battle of New York goes down on Friday as the Knicks travel from Manhattan across town to Brooklyn to face off with the Nets. This is also a battle of two teams headed in totally opposite directions.
Brooklyn is the one headed in the right direction. They’ve won four-straight games, and eight out of their last ten. They are doing it still without injured leading scorer Caris LeVert (D’Angelo Russell has since supplanted him as the team’s leading point getter). A big part of their success stems from their long-range marksmanship – they are fifth in the NBA in three’s made.
The Knicks, meanwhile, are a sinking ship, losers of six-straight and nine out of their last ten. Only the woeful Cleveland Cavaliers are keeping the Knickerbockers from residing in the cellar of the Eastern Conference. A big reason for their struggles is due to the continued absence of star Kristaps Porzingis, who’s been out all year rehabbing his injured knee.
This will be the teams’ last meeting of the season, with Brooklyn winning two out of the first three.

New York Islanders – Chicago Blackhawks Jan 22 Prediction
The surging New York Islanders take their show on the road to the Windy City to take on the sinking Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday. As of this writing, the Islanders have won four-straight games, and eight out of ten, to propel themselves to the top spot in the Metropolitan Division. On the flipside, the Hawks have dropped five-straight and have gone 3-4-3 in their last ten games.
The Hawks main issue this season has been their defense, as they have given up the most goals in the NHL. Top goalie Corey Crawford has been out with a concussion for over a month, which certainly hasn’t helped matters. The United Center hasn’t been much of a refuge for them this season, as they are only 8-10-6 in their home arena thus far.
Meanwhile it’s been happy days on Long Island (and Brooklyn) for the Islanders, as they have given up the least amount of goals in the league this season. They are using a rare goaltending platoon to stymie opponents, with Thomas Greiss and Robin Lehner equally sharing playing time and equally dominating.
The Islanders won the teams’ only other meeting this season earlier this month, 3-2 in overtime.
